The experimental math space sponsored a mathematical labyrinth workshop at the Canadian Mathematics Society Annual Summer Meeting. This was lead by UBC professor, Susan Geroksy. In the photo shown, participants are walking the labyrinth that they created. Professor Gerofsky is playing accordion music to accompany the movement of walking the labyrinth. This is a concept known as "embodied mathematics"; that is, learning math through physical approaches such as dancing, writing and reading poetry, playing music, gardening, etc. June 4, 2022
